It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Blanche Y. (DuPrey) Blanchard of Quinebaug, Connecticut, born in Putnam, Connecticut, who passed away on August 21, 2020, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Charles Duprey and Ermie "Sue" Duprey; her brother Thomas J. Duprey; her granddaughter Chira; her son-in-law Fred Coons; and her pet Dexter.
She is survived by: her children, Margaret Challinor, Joseph (Lynn Bernier), Yvonne Coons, Jodi (Mark Borders), Ernest Blanchard and Toni (Thomas Murdock); and her grandchildren, Robert Challinor, Jason Challinor, David Challinor, Joseph Bernier, Jr., Theresa Hopkins, Kristopher Hopkins, James Bernier, Joshua Bernier, Frank Houle, Jr., Alexzandra Tondreau and Taylor Blanchard-Saucier. She is also survived by great great grandchildren, and nieces.
