“My dear Linda: You and Mr. Roman came to my wedding, Sept. 25, 1970, at Uncasville United Methodist Church. I also sent you and him a long letter, in the last few moths. I didn't hear back but just wanted you both to know how Richard Roman made a real difference in my life, both as my teacher and friend then and now, some 53 years later. I know that I wasn't that special. He made all of his students feel special. Because of him, I am a retired Journalist and passed my Oral Spanish Final at KU.”
