With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Marlene Jean Simon (Quaker Hill, Connecticut), born in New London, Connecticut, who passed away on March 27, 2019 at the age of 83. She was predeceased by: her parents, Theresa Goodman and Samuel Miller; her daughter Phyllis Ann Levine (Simon); and her brother Marvin Miller of New Jersey. She is survived by: her daughter Susan Ann Smith (Simon); her son-in-law Walter Smith of Niantic, CT; her grandchildren, Joshua Kraft (Emily) of Jacksonville, FL, Rachel Levine of Port Orange, FL, Joseph Levine and Sarah Smith of Niantic, CT; her great grandchildren, Scarlett, Grey Kraft of Jacksonville, FL and Lillyona Levine; her children, Kristine, Sophia and Stephanie; her grandchildren, Jake and David; her friends, Libby Gallagher of Port Orange, FL and Leon Gay; and her husband Bernard Simon. She is also survived by several cousins, nieces, nephews.
