She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Josephine Eith Ares and Frank J. Ares; her aunt Caroline Eith Knierim; her uncle George A. Knierim; her spouse Robert E. Lamphere of Quaker Hill; her children, Clarice Roeder (John) of Dacula, Mary Lamphere Jakacky (John) of Oakdale and Robert W. Lamphere (Lisa) of Quaker Hill; and her siblings, Mary Ares Ariemma, Frank J. Ares, Jr. and George C. Knierim.

In lieu of flowers, the family suggests contributions to the Waterford Public Library to honor Helen's respect for reading and learning.
