It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Vytautas Alksninis (Putnam, Connecticut), who passed away on September 10, 2023, at the age of 93, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Vaclovas Alksninis and Gabrielle Alksninis (Kaunaite). He is survived by: his wife Irena Alksninis (Pesytė) of Ashford; his daughters, Lina Anužis (Saulius) of Washington, D. C., Rasa Mokhoff (Nicolas) of Sea Cliff, NY and Sigita Alksninis of Oberaegeri, Switzerland; his grandchildren, Matas (Vaiva), Tadas (Kelsey), Vytis, Marius (Beatriz), Kira, Max, Kajus and Vėjas; his great grandchildren, Sigita, Karina, Ignas and Augustas; and his brother Algirdas Alksninis (Dana). He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
