It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Roderick J MacPherson of Putnam, Connecticut, who passed away on January 11, 2025, at the age of 71, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, William MacPherson and Marion MacPherson (Cantwell); and his wife Karen I. MacPherson. He is survived by: his children, Heather Courville (David), Melissa Williams (Shannon) and Andrew MacPherson (Alyssa); his grandchildren, Christian, Andrew, Lily, Stella, Jacob, Gavin and Dahlia (Debby Foley); and his siblings, Keith MacPherson and Alison Prescott.

Visitation will be held on Saturday, January 18th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 5:00 PM at the Gilman Funeral Home (104 Church St, Putnam, CT 06260). A funeral service will be held on Sunday, January 19th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
