He was predeceased by: his parents, Andrew J. Comtois and Loretta Doris Comtois (Ritcher); his wife Cheryl L. Comtois (Cyr); and his brothers, Roland, Roger, Norman and Raymond.

He is survived by: his children, Robert L. Comtois of New Mexico and Kathryn Nash (Robert) of Sterling; and his granddaughter Genevieve Nash (Robert Lussier).
