Phillip Edward Willis Obituary

With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Phillip Edward Willis in Putnam, Connecticut, who passed away on July 8, 2023 at the age of 63. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Robert P. Willis, Sr. and Doris "Dodie" Ayers Willis; his significant other Stacey; his sons, Blake Willis (Mary) of Virginia Beach, VA and Ryan Willis (Taylor); his grandchild Hayes Phillip of Bridgewater, MA; his daughter Abigail "Abby" Willis of West Hartford, CT.; his siblings, Robert Willis, Jr. (Kristen) of Eastford, CT and Caroline "Cally" Robbins (Edward) of Dayville, CT; his parents-in-law, Vincent and Suzanne Maltese of Tinton Falls, NJ; his siblings-in-law, Tina Woodward (Gary) of Holmdel, NJ and Adam (Andrea Maltese) of Bloomington, IN; his nephew Justin Willis; and also, Jordan Willis (Milka), Angela Morelly (Mike), Jim Robbins (Breanna), Andrew, Max, Scott Woodward, Juliana and Cecil Maltese.

“I want you to know that I am praying for your family. I pray that God will wrap his arms around you and hold you close as you grieve such an amazing man. I was so happy to have a chance to see Phil again before he passed. He's been my friend since we were little children, and it was a blessing to be able to talk to him and be reminded of the wonderful and special person that he was. I have so many good memories of Phil and I will treasure them. Carole Ekholm”
