He was predeceased by: his parents, John C. Ryan, and Beryl Ryan, Sr. (Huntley); his son Paul C. Ryan, Jr.; and his siblings, John Ryan, Jr., William Ryan, Joseph Rockwell, Edith Mary Elliott and Elizabeth Cook.
He is survived by: his children, Jeffery P. Ryan (William "Bill" Juzwic), Grosvenordale, Paulette Frans (Peter) of Groton, Julie Walthers (Nate) of Lancaster, NH and Michelle Verville of Griswold; his brother Thomas Ryan (Rose); his brother-in-law Larry Elliott; and his grandchildren, James Arrington and Chadler Mondor.
