It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Mercedes J. Robbins (Putnam, Connecticut), born in Holyoke, Massachusetts, who passed away on March 18, 2023, at the age of 93, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Urban Ernst and Anna Ernst (Connors). She is survived by: her husband Robert Merrill Robbins; her children, Karen Robbins, Merrill Robbins (Jayne) and Lynne O'Brien (Timothy O'Brien); her grandchildren, Danielle Robbins (Marcus Palmore), Eric Robbins (Meghan Dussault), Darcy O'Brien (Juan Medina) and Keegan O'Brien; her great grandchildren, Ryker, Landyn Robbins and Gabriella Palmore; and her siblings-in-law, Norma O'Leary, Carol Smith and Bob Smith. She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews.
In lieu of flowers send donations to Robbins Family Scholarship, Thompson Town Hall, 815 Riverside Dr., N. Grosvenordale, CT 06255, this scholarship is set up for Tourtellotte Memorial High School student.
