She was predeceased by: her parents, George Smith and Katharine Smith (Hayden); and her siblings, David Smith and Marcia Stiehl. She is survived by: her husband Tom Chase; her children, Katharine Chase of Falls Church, VA, Samuel Chase of Fairhaven, MA and Ellen Chase (Jesse) of Grayson, GA; and her grandchildren, Henry Campbell, Finnleigh Chase, Skylar Chase and Wesley Chase.
