He was predeceased by: his parents, Helen Doughty (O'Farrell) and Charles Doughty, Sr.; his son John Doughty, Jr.; and his siblings, Charles Doughty, Jr., MaryEllen Morrissey, Margaret Taraba and Helen Murray.
He is survived by: his wife Caroline Doughty (Ouellette); his daughters, Laurie Siegal (David), Cheryl Wilcox (Ed) and Karen Wellings; his brother Jerry Doughty (Toni); and his grandchildren, Alex, John Siegal, Zachary, Cameron, Mikayla, Caroline Wilcox, Jason Jr. and Emma Wellings. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
