He was predeceased by: his parents, Peter Defazio and Doris Defazio (Paille). He is survived by: his wife Cathy Defazio (Banfill); his children, Devon Defazio of Maine, James "Jamie" Defazio Jr. of Brookfield, Andrew Tindell of Worcester and Skyla Defazio of Putnam; his brother Ira Estabrooks of Woodstock; his sister-in-law Nancy Geoffrion of Putnam; his sisters, Donna Defazio of Worcester, Darlene Gary of Worcester, Michelle Gordon of Worcester and Lisa Morin-Skillern of North Carolina; and his close friend Terry Demand of Canada. He is also survived by two granddaughters, several nieces, nephews and cousins.
