He was predeceased by: his parents, Oakie Hedquist Sr. and Blanche Hedquist (Olson) of Warwick; his brother Oakie Hedquist Jr. of Warwick; his son Daniel Hedquist Sr.; and his grandson Roland "Bud" Hedquist Jr..
He is survived by: his wife Jeannette R. Hedquist (LaCroix); and his children, George Hedquist (Terry) of Woonsocket, Ronald Hedquist Sr. (Kathleen) of Warwick, Roland Hedquist Sr. (Lee-Ann) of North Smithfield, Sharon "Sissy" Brunelle (Troy) of Thompson, CT, Brenda Lambert (Steve) of Cumberland, Dale Hedquist (Kelli) of Lincoln, Sandra, Tina, Paula, Tanya, Laura, Kim and Miriam. He is also survived by his wife, children, 27 grandchildren and 58 great-grandchildren, his extended family along with their children and grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, April 19th 2025 from 11:15 AM to 1:15 PM at the Holt Funeral Home (510 S Main St, Woonsocket, RI 02895).
