With heavy hearts, we announce the death of David William Obara (Putnam, Connecticut), who passed away on February 14, 2025 at the age of 71. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Vincent Obara and Barbara Obara (Wheeler). He is survived by: his wife Sharon Obara (Warren); his sons, Daniel Obara (Milissa) of Charlton, MA and James Obara (Eileen) of Upton, MA; his brothers, Michael Obara (Vicky) of Leominster, MA and Carl Obara (Laura) of Charlton, MA; his grandchildren, Owen, Allie, Matthew and Justin; and his close friends, Adam, Bill and Charlie.
Visitation will be held on Friday, February 21st 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Gilman Funeral Home (104 Church St, Putnam, CT 06260). A funeral service will be held on Friday, February 21st 2025 from 12:00 PM to 12:30 PM at the same location.
