He was predeceased by: his parents, Bill Bernards and June Bernards; and his siblings, Chic Bernards and Janyth Sisneros. He is survived by: his wife Celeste Bernards; his children, Tracie Spencer (Brent), Jason Bernards (Vera) and Shea Akers (Brandon); and his sister Jillyn Jones. He is also survived by nine grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
