He was predeceased by: his parents, Clinton Francis McGrath and Nancy Foss; and his brother Clinton Francis McGrath, III. He is survived by: his children, Casey McGrath, Brian McGrath (Samantha Fennelly), Derek McGrath and Ethan McGrath; his grandchildren, Grayson and Cayde McGrath; his former wife Mary McGrath; his sisters, Cora of Washington, Laura Lami (Jim Lami) and Annmarie Martin; his aunt Barbara Goderre; his brother-in-law Tim, Sr. of Washington; and his godson Tim, Jr. of Washington. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews and cousins.
