He was predeceased by: his parents, James P. Lenihan and Elizabeth Lenihan (Flanagan); and his significant other Kathleen Lenihan (Kellaher). He is survived by: his children, Kathleen "Kelly" Boni (Anthony) of North Branford, Robert A. Lenihan (Amber) of West Haven, Sean K. Lenihan (Tara) of West Haven, James P. Lenihan (Sue) of Hamden and Michael W. Lenihan of Athena, OR; his grandchildren, Eric, Alexandra, Erin, Dillon, Olivia, Gavin Lenihan, Michael Behr, Casey Mikelonis, Zachary Falcon and Hunter Boni; his great grandchild Vincent Mikelonis; and his siblings, Mary B. Bohan, Jack, James, Edmund and William Lenihan.
