We bid farewell to Leonard Young Jr. of Prospect, Connecticut, whose journey of life gracefully concluded on April 15, 2025 at the age of 68. Leonard touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. In the soft embrace of remembrance, we recall the profound impact Leonard had on those he encountered along his journey. Though Leonard may have slipped beyond the veil of mortality, his essence lingers like a faint fragrance in the air, a lingering reminder of the beauty and complexity of the human experience.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Leonard Sr. Young and Gloria Young (Mugni). He is survived by: his siblings, Joyce Young of Prospect, Michael Young (Karen) of Southington and Dean Young (Amy) of Cheshire. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews, as well as numerous extended family.
Visitation was held on Monday, April 21st 2025 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Beecher & Bennett Funeral Home (2300 Whitney Ave, Hamden, CT 06518).
