She was predeceased by: her parents, Joseph Edgar and Sallie Nabors (Francis); her children, Valerie Leal, Michael Powell and Sandra Wade; her son-in-law Theodore Wade; and her siblings, Jo-Bessie Williams, Edward Nabors, Oda Lee Simpson, Mary Crews, Samuel Nabors and Lois Mullins.
She is survived by: her grandchildren, Damien Wade (Juanita), Theodore Wade, Corey Wade, Samara Nelson (Craig), Candice Wade and Kayla Anthony; and her siblings, William R. Nabors and Susan Saunders. She is also survived by 6 great grandchildren, nieces, nephews, extended family.
Visitation was held on Friday, February 14th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Casey's Eastside Memorial Funeral Home and Cremation Care (1987 E Main St, Waterbury, CT 06705). A prayer was held on Friday, February 14th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
