She was predeceased by: her siblings, William Hess, Thomas Hess, Barbara Cain and Lillian Hawes. She is survived by: her children, Gregory F. Scarpa Jr (Linda) of Preston, Stephen Scarpa of Oakdale and Cara Crawshaw of Norwich; her grandchildren, Ryan Scarpa (Cassandra), Alec Scarpa, Brett Scarpa and Nicolette Scarpa; her great grandchildren, Charlee, Ryan Jr. and Liam; and her siblings, Alfred Hess of Florida, Emily Levi of Tennessee and Faith Mattern of Florida. She is also survived by numerous extended family members and close friends.
