He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert Black and Helen Black (Andrews). He is survived by: his wife Janet; his sons, Timothy Black (Donna) of Groton and Thomas Black (Dorice) of Ellsworth, ME; his stepchildren, Michael Minor (Dianne) of Bozrah, Heidi Liebal (Douglas) of Preston, Travis Minor of Hendersonville, NC and Ryan Minor of Preston; his grandchildren, Kera Chapman (Keith), Dr. Kevin Black, Kelsea Black, Thomas Black (Jessica) and Austin Black (Sarah); and his stepgrandchildren, Amber Mitchell (Keith), Andrew and Brendan Liebal. He is also survived by 10 great grandchildren.
Memorial donations in Richard Black's memory may be made to the American Parkinson Disease Association or to the Alzheimer's Association.
