He was predeceased by: his parent Herbert Sharkey. He is survived by: his parent Ellen Sharkey (Wakely); his spouse Donna Sharkey (Savage); his children, Katrina Sharkey of Preston, Kristopher Sharkey of Preston and Michael Tetreault (Melissa) of Lewisburg, WV; his siblings, Arnold Sharkey (Rosemary) of Plainfield, Timothy Sharkey (Leona) of Jewett City, Margaret Mangarelli (Rick) of Plainfield, Mary Ellen Roy (Gordon) of Jewett City and Patricia Stone (Daniel) of Jewett City; and his grandchildren, Gabriella Pirri, Michael, Brianna, Caitlyn and Zachary Tetreault. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
Calling hours at the Guillot Funeral Home, 75 South B Street, Taftville will be Friday from 6-8 P.M. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Poquetanuck Fire Department, 87 Rte 2A, Preston, CT 06365.
