It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of William L. Walsh Jr. of Portland, Connecticut, who passed away on December 25, 2024, at the age of 69, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, William Sr. Walsh and Janet Walsh (Chapman). He is survived by: his wife Marguerite Maddalena (Cayer); his stepchildren, Nicholas Maddalena (Elizabeth) of Alexandria, VA and Jaime Maddalena (Bri) of Newington; his grandchildren, Evan and Brooke Boutin; his sisters, Brenda Stefanelli (Gerald) and Tina Grabon (Robert) of Uncasville; his nephews, Gerald Stefanelli Jr. (Rebecca) and Matthew Stefanelli (Kelly); and his niece Rebecca Grabon.

Visitation was held on Friday, January 3rd 2025 from 4:00 PM to 6:30 PM at the Plantsville Funeral Home (975 S Main St, Plantsville, CT 06479). The military honors was held on Friday, January 3rd 2025 at 6:30 PM at the same location.
