Richard Whalen Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Richard Whalen of Portland, Connecticut, who passed away on July 1, 2021 at the age of 67. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Richard Whalen to pay them a last tribute.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Richard J. Whalen Sr. and Mildred E. Whalen of East Hartford. He is survived by: his wife Lillian H. Whalen; his children, Dr. Allison Whalen Frailey (Jackman) of Mount Pleasant, S. C. and Daniel J. Whalen (Anne) of Portland; his grandchildren, Michael Richard Frailey and Catherine Rose Frailey; his siblings, Kathleen W. Dyer (Richard) of Manchester and Thomas F. Whalen (Sheila) of Manchester; and his sisters-in-law, Rose Faselle of Cromwell and Marie Cyr (J. P.) of East Berlin. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.
