She was predeceased by: her husband John H. Schufer; her parents, William Hanna Jr. and Marjorie Hanna (Hallberg); her brother Donald Hanna; and her niece Jodi Baretta Bjorklund.

She is survived by: her siblings, Robert Hanna, William Hanna (Kim), Irene Nichols and Carol Baretta. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.

“My sympathies to the family of Midge Schufer. Unfortunately, I am not in touch with the Schufers since the death of my own husband. But I wanted to say that Midge was respected and loved. I remember she hosted my wedding shower at her home in Portland, let us use her Florida home for our honeymoon and again hosted us in Florida when we were looking at colleges in the area. Rest in peace, auntie Midge. Rosanne Bednarz”
