He was predeceased by: his parents, Arthur G. Whidden and Frances Mae Whidden (Rogers); and his brother David Whidden. He is survived by: his daughter Tracey Garofalo (Louis) of Middlefield; his siblings, Steven Whidden of Portland, Deborah Sadlowski of Portland, Cheryl Russin and Sheila Freeman; and his grandsons, Luke and Michael Garofalo.
