It is with great sadness that we announce the death of James Probolus (Portland, Connecticut), born in Worcester, Massachusetts, who passed away on February 29, 2020, at the age of 71, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his wife Catherine Probolus (Howe); his parents, George Probolus and Lillian Probolus (Sexton); his sons, James Andrew Probolus (Marianne Smith) of Lancaster, PA and Matthew Franklin Probolus (Jessica) of West Hartford; his brothers, George F. Probolus (Judy) of Pleasant Valley, NY, Paul C. Probolus (Sallie) of Brewster, MA and John X. Probolus (Susan) of Boston, MA; his brothers-in-law, Thomas A. Howe (Margaret) of Goshen, NY and David G. Howe of Brazil; his grandchildren, Zachary, Henry, Maxwell, Skyler, Annabel and James II; and his nieces and nephews, Kimberly, Alison, Katherine, Yara, Nicholas and Daniel.
