He was predeceased by: his wife Audrey Godwin (Burdick); his parents, Frank, Sr. Godwin and Nellie Godwin (Anderson); his son Norman S. Godwin; and his sister Roberta Zeiser.
He is survived by: his children, Robert E. Godwin (Nancy) of Portland, Sharon Purzycki (Todd) of Littleton, NH and David J. Godwin (Betty) of Portland. He is also survived by nine grandchildren; eight great grandchildren; three great, great grandchildren; three nieces; a nephew and many cousins.
