She was predeceased by: her parents, Louis Palau and Florence Olivia Palau (Ahlstrin); her husband Carl Thomas Tirone; her siblings, Patricia Palau and Charles Palau; and also Christian Bennett.
She is survived by: her children, Charles Tirone (Patricia) of Ballston Lake, NY, Robert Tirone (Alison) of Byfield, MA, Elizabeth Cooley (David) of Portland, CT, Mark Tirone (Sharon Eppes) of Wilmington, DE and Susan Tirone (Ed Roy) of Middletown, CT.; her grandchildren, Charles Tirone, Olivia, Cassidy Cooley (Andrew Poulin), Samuel Roy, Carl J. Tirone, Marissa and Cara Eppes; and her sister Eleanor P. Jacobs. She is also survived by nieces and nephews.
A celebration of life was held on Friday, April 25th 2025 at 11:30 AM at the Biega Funeral Home (3 Silver St, Middletown, CT 06457). A burial was held on Friday, April 25th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the State Veterans' Cemetery (317 Bow Ln, Middletown, CT 06457).
