It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Elizabeth Ann Smith of Portland, Connecticut, born in Middletown, Connecticut, who passed away on March 10, 2023, at the age of 82, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Ralph White and Marjorie White (Beveridge); her husband Donald Denette; and her brother Robert W. White. She is survived by: her children, Donald R. Denette, Jr. (Susan), Robert Denette (Cyndi) of Surprise, AZ, David Denette (Debra) of East Haddam, CT and Leslie Fickett (Donovan) of Mulberry, FL; her stepchildren, Robin Smith (David) of Woodinville, WA, Ingrid Smith of Torrington, CT, Wendy Morgan of Moulton, AL and Heidi Otero (Victor) of Middletown, CT; her sister Nancy Crosby (Larry) of Durham, NH; and her caregivers, Saybrook and Chestelm. She is also survived by seven grandchildren, three great grandchildren and several stepgrandchildren.
