He was predeceased by: his wife Josephine DeRita (Cimino); and his parents, Peter DeRita and Grace DeRita (Bartolotta). He is survived by: his son Peter; his daughter-in-law Krystyna DeRita of Venice, FL; his daughter Grace Amadeo of Middletown; his grandchildren, Jimmy, Anthony and Nicole (Jesse); and his great grandchild Christyan. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
