She was predeceased by: her father George McDermott. She is survived by: her mother Margaret "Rita" McDermott (Hearns); her husband Brian Hanlon; her children, Aideen Whittaker (Justin) of Wethersfield, CT, Ciara Hanlon (Cameron Saracina) of Springfield, MA and Conor Hanlon of San Diego, CA.; her sisters, Colette Colley, Monica McDermott, Clare Browne of Dublin, Ireland and Angela McDermott-Knox (John Knox) of Rocky River; her close friends, Mike, Sally Tyler of Eastford, CT and Henry (Rebecca Li); and her grandchildren, Gillian and Colin Whittaker. She is also survived by nieces and nephews.
