With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Sara Kivela of Pomfret, Connecticut, who passed away on May 10, 2021 at the age of 98. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Charles Arnold Page and Margaret White Page; her husbands, Goodwin Pike and William Kivela; and her friend Ziggy Janaczek.
She is survived by: her son Charles Earle Pike (Christine); her siblings, Fred Page, Dorothy Ransom and Ethel Peterson; her grandson Frank McKenna; her children, Elisabeth Pike McKenna and William Kivela (Kimberly); her grandchildren, Jeffrey Pike (Michelle), Justin Pike (Jessica), Marshall McKenna (Jennie Cornell), Jason Kivela Jennifer Kivela (Lenora) and Katelyn Kivela; her great grandchildren, Thomas Pike, Clayton Pike, Emily Pike, Colton Pike, Lilia Melki, Leonard Kivela, Cheyenne McKenna, Kenza Melki and Eliza Kivela; and also Eleanor Arvonen.
Sara had recently mentioned she missed her dearly and hasn't seen her for over a year due to the pandemic.
