She was predeceased by: her husband Robert McElroy; her parents, John Sutherland and Sarah Sutherland (Cameron); and her siblings, Robert Sutherland, Jay Sutherland, Patricia Bringham and Joan Chesney.
She is survived by: her sons, Kevin McElroy (Lynell) of Danbury and Kenneth McElroy of Pomfret; her sisters, Linda Witkowski of Farmington and Pamela Soucy of Farmington; and her grandchildren, Caitlin Moore, Kelly Jean McElroy, Jonathan Sakolsky and Russell Sakolsky.
