She was predeceased by: her parent Burton Wilson; and her son John Surprise. She is survived by: her spouse Frank W. Surprise, Jr.; her parent Florence Wilson (Latour); her daughters, Ann Erskine of Pomfret, Laurie Gallup (Bill) of Sterling, Diana Waters of Marlin, TX, Maureen Surprise, Dennis Courtemanche of Killingly and Susan Surprise of Pomfret; and her siblings, Henry Wilson (Dale) of Wilsonville, CT, Donna Grkman (John) of Willmington, NC and Deborah Briere of Putnam. She is also survived by many grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
