He was predeceased by: his parent Edgar M.; his children, Robert Gauthier Jr. and Jennifer Magnano; his brother William Gauthier; and also Dorothy Gauthier (Dwyer).
He is survived by: his spouse Suzanne (Dancoes); his parent Irene Gauthier (Dube); his children, Larry Gauthier of Bristol, Steven Gauthier of Bristol, Jeffrey Theriault of Bristol, Cindy Gauthier of Berlin, Jolane Massie of Berlin and Nanette Thibeault of Berlin; his grandchildren, Ryan, Renee, Joel, Nicole, Katy, Stephanie, Evan, Alex, Tyler, Aaron, Jessica, David, Emily, Tiela, Amber, Trey, Aubrey, Charlene and Heather; his siblings, Normand Gauthier and Germaine Pelletier of Wolcott; and also Theriault Gauthier. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
