He was predeceased by: his parents, Gerard Fortin and Fabiola Fortin (Gagne); his wife Monique; and his brother Marcel Fortin. He is survived by: his children, Annette Van Aken (Lewis) of Maine, Diana Smith (Joe) of Burlington and Danny Fortin (Nichole) of Avon; his stepchildren, Yves LaPierre (Steve Dube) of Milwaukee, WI and Brenda Gorman of Guilford, CT; his grandchildren, Jordan Van Aken, Cameron, Mackenzie, Maxwell Smith, Savannah, Sawyer, Lincoln, Declan Fortin, Haley and Billy Gorman; and his sister-in-law Jacqueline Fortin of Bristol.
