We are sad to announce that on November 19, 2024, at the age of 76, Janice L. Dill of Plymouth, Connecticut, born in Paterson, New Jersey passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Raymond Halma and Jeanette Halma (Katsma); her son Richard T. Dill, Jr.; and her sister Beverly Jenks. She is survived by: her husband Richard T. Dill, Sr.; her children, Kerry Dill (Jim Bernardi) of Torrington and David Dill (Heather) of Wolcott; her daughter-in-law Jennifer Dill of Bristol; her sister Rae Ann Reaves (Stan) of South Carolina; her grandchildren, TJ Dring, Ryleigh Dring, Sarah Dill, Abby Dill, Hailey Davis, Tristan Davis (Alexa), Taylor Davis, Hunter Dill, Morgan Dill, Adrianna Bernardi and Crystina Bernardi; and her great grandchildren, Tatum and Bloom.

Visitation will be held on Friday, November 29th 2024 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Funk Funeral Home (35 Bellevue Ave, Bristol, CT 06010). A memorial service will be held on Saturday, November 30th 2024 at 2:00 PM at the Bible Church of Waterbury (240 Dwight St, Waterbury, CT 06704).

“Jan and I were freshman roommates at Nyack college. Both jersey girls. We had a good year and then we roomed together sophomore year. She had a gift for music. music was her major. She was a kind, sweet person. Loved her kids and grandkids. Kept in touch at Christmas with exchanging cards. So proud to share all the activities and accomplishments of her kids and grandkids.
