She is survived by: her husband Robert Slater; her children, Robert Slater (Shannon) of Barkhamsted, Michael Slater (Marsha) and Jodie Derwin (Slater) of Southington; her grandchildren, Alicia Slater, Riley Derwin, Haley Derwin, Joseph Slater and Karleen Slater; and her siblings, Darlene Slater, Pat, Daryl and Galen Buel. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
