He was predeceased by: his wife Margaret Mary DePizzol (Hallstein); his father Peter DePizzol; his sons, John James DePizzol and Peter Joseph DePizzol; and his siblings, Dorothy Dobinsky, Lorraine Pinkovich, Robert, William, Edward and Leroy.

He is survived by: his grandchildren, Jarrett DePizzol (Jenny), Tara Ray (Brandon), Shana DePizzol, Cassandra DePizzol, Timothy DePizzol, Datona DePizzol and Jesse Boehne; his daughter-in-law Diana DePizzol; and his nephew William "Billy" K. Jones. He is also survived by several great grandchildren.
