She was predeceased by: her parents, Evangelista Valentin-Ramirez and Leon Perez; and her stepfather Severino Lopez. She is survived by: her husband Freddy DeJesus; her sons, Luis Galarza 3rd (Kelly Sullivan) and Freddy DeJesus Jr.; her grandsons, Isaac Galarza and Tajon Smalls; and her siblings, Adam Rivera, Maria Perez, Luz Boehler, Elsa Rodriguez, Isabel Rodriguez, Benny Perez and Carlos Rodriguez. She is also survived by nieces, nephews and cousins.
