We are sad to announce that on April 5, 2023, at the age of 97, Giuseppina Maria Ricciardone of Plantsville, Connecticut passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Alessandro Gallo and Maria Cotignola; and her sisters, Rosa, Adele and Valentina Gallo.

She is survived by: her husband Giovanni Ricciardone; her sons, Demetrio "Dino" and Al's; her friend Cafe; her son Alexander Ricciardone; her grandchildren, Claudia, John, Diana, Alex and Robyn; and her great grandchildren, Luke, Siena, Andrew, Isabella, Lily, Ava and Alexander.

Up until the start of the Coronavirus pandemic, she was still helping to make meatballs at her son Al's restaurant, Friends Cafe.

In lieu of flowers, donations in Giuseppina's memory may be made to the St. Jude Children's Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place Memphis, TN 38105. (http://www.stjude.org).
