He was predeceased by: his parents, Sebastiano Cassarino and Elba Cassarino (Schiappacasse); his spouse Libera Cassarino; and his brother Emanuele Cassarino. He is survived by: his children, Christina Cassarino (Steve Ditota) of Southington and Mark Cassarino (Shreve); and his grandchildren, Ella Cassarino, Michael, Maria Rose and Julia Ditota. He is also survived by several cousins and close friends.
