She was predeceased by: her parents, Stephen Kania and Mary Kania (Turek); her husband Frank Derynioski; her daughter Evelyn Petersen; her son-in-law Robert Seymour; and her siblings, Edward Kania (Roger), Joseph Kania, Frank Kania, John Kania, Thaddeus Kania, Genevieve Veneski, Helen Swol and Kathryn Bakula.
She is survived by: her children, Carol (James Pinto) of Plantsville, Mary Ellen Seymour of Plantsville, Nancy (Timothy) of Plantsville and James Derynioski of Plantsville.
