It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Ellen Gulick Schwarz of Plantsville, Connecticut, born in Orange, New Jersey, who passed away on January 8, 2021, at the age of 88, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Kenneth Farnum and Lena Louise Crane; and her sisters, Jane Martel and Alma Day. She is survived by: her children, Glenn Gulick (Amy) of Southbury, Gail Perrella of Southington and Nancy Gulick of Bridgewater, NJ; her son-in-law Dennis Perrella of Southington; her grandchildren, Brian Perrella (Susan) of Southington, Krista Antigiovanni (Brian) of Southington, Alyssa Wypychoski of Southbury, Ashley Gulick of Southbury, Gregory Gulick of Southbury, Grant Gulick of Southbury, Dana Gulick Bowman of Bridgewater, NJ and Mark Gulick Bowman of Bridgewater, NJ; her great grandchildren, Logan, Gavin, Camden Perrella, Brady and Lena Antigiovanni; her former husband Rodwin Gulick of Oxford; and her nephew Ken Higgins of Punta Gorda, FL. She is also survived by many other nieces and nephews.
Due to Covid concerns, a memorial/celebration of life gathering will be held on September 10, 2021 at a place and time TBD.
In lieu of flowers, in Ellen's memory, her family requests that you pay it forward by offering a helping hand to a senior as Ellen would have done.
