He was predeceased by: his wife Julia; his parents, Daniel McKney and Catherine Broad (Wellman); and his brothers, Ross and Ronald Broad.
He is survived by: his sons, Chad McKney, Jr. (Loida) of Tucson, AZ, Jerry McKney (Cathy) of Delray Beach, FL and Michael McKney (Heather) of Meriden, CT.; and his grandchildren, Emily, Matthew, Levi McKney, Justin and Kayla Brangiero.
