With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of William Christopher Kinney Jr. of Plainville, Connecticut, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on October 13, 2024 at the age of 94. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Virginia Kinney and William Kinney of New Haven; his former wife Lois McDermott (Bernard); his wife Betty Kinney; his daughter Lisa Kinney; his granddaughter Ryann O'Keefe; and his great grandchild Adam Spinnato.

He is survived by: his sister Mary Lou LeVasseur; his children, Deborah O'Keefe (Patrick), William C Kinney, III and David Kinney (Suzanne); his grandchildren, James O'Keefe, Tiffany Spinnato (Paul), Hollie Kinney and Samuel Kinney (Casey); and his great grandchildren, Aubrie Dirienzo, Colin Dirienzo, Cameron Dirienzo, Joey Spinnato, Kyle O'Keefe, Ashlynn O'Keefe, Gannon O'Keefe and Leo Christopher Farring.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations in William's memory may be directed to the Tunnels to Towers Foundation or to Williams home Elks Lodge #1365.
