He was predeceased by: his parents, Shirley Hill of New Haven, CT and George Sylvester of New York; his brother Maurice Hill; his uncles, John Hill, George Hill of Maryland, CT and Moe Sylvester of Mississippi; his grandparents, John Hill and Gladys Hill; his cousins, Eurica Crawford and Ratica Crawford; and his friend Christopher Samos.
He is survived by: his son Joshua Smith of Florida; his sister Marcia Hill of New Haven, CT; his nieces, Synai Hill and Janique Newman of New Haven, CT; his nephew Jayden Newman of New Haven, CT; and his sisters, Tiera Brookshire and Sharcola Osborn of New Haven, CT. He is also survived by loving cousins and friends; one cousin.
