It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Lester Olmstead (Plainville, Connecticut), born in New Britain, Connecticut, who passed away on January 2, 2019, at the age of 90, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Lester Lockwood and Ellen J. Olmstead (Burke); his wife Patricia; his children, Bruce D. Olmstead of Columbia, AL, Lynn Rankin (Douglas) of Taunton, MA and Patricia Nordel (David) of Billings, MT; his grandchildren, Douglas, MacLean, Gillian Rankin, Alexander, Elizabeth, Ethan, Patrick Olmstead, David Nordel (Natae) and Dominic Nordel; his great grandchild AvaLynn Nordel; and his sisters, Lucille, Phyllis and Virginia. He was also cherished by his aunt and many nieces, nephews and cousins.
